My Story

I’m Jen, a Soft Tissue Therapist from the UK. I completed my BSc (Hons) Biochemistry with Medical Biochemistry in Cardiff shortly followed by 6 months travelling South America. In 2009 I moved to Sydney and continued my education, completing my Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2013 at the NSW School of Massage.

In 2013 I joined Sydney Elite Massage Therapy, a company with several locations in Sydney including; KC The Sports Chiropractor, Potts Point; Sydney Sports Medicine Centre, Olympic Park; and High Performance Physiotherapy, Ryde.

Sport has always been a huge part of my life and growing up, I spent a lot of time on the tennis court training and competing in the UK and US. I have a first hand understanding of the demands placed on the body and through an injury whilst training for the Sydney half marathon, l found Luke Khoury (owner of KC, The Sports Chiropractor). His approach to treating me was so successful that I was back into training long before I expected and inspired to get back into further education.

After completing my Diploma I contacted Luke Khoury, Anthony Khaleel and Georgette Stephens (Owners of Sydney Elite Massage Therapy) and now work with them!

Since the Diploma, I further studied

-Active Release Techniques (ART)- spine

-Musculoskeletal Dry Needling- level 1

-Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT)- level 1

-I am currently enrolled at Macquarie University in an Anatomy course with a future plan to enter into a Master of Chiropractic in 2018

-I worked poolside at the National Age Swimming Championships 2014 and 2015, and also with the NSW Netball team in 2015

I am a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists
